 Bruce Young has served as a member of the MMI faculty and administration for seven years, starting in the fall of 2003. He wears many hats at MMI, serving as the Director of Athletics, Head Volleyball Coach, Physical Education Instructor, and Math Instructor.
Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University. He was the third generation in his family to graduate from ESU. Mr. Young also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Bloomsburg University and a teaching certification in General Science.
Prior to his arrival at MMI, Mr. Young served as the Hazleton YMCA Program Director for one and a half years, and Coordinator of Athletics and Recreation at the Penn State-Hazleton Campus for 13 years. He then taught at Immanuel Christian School from 1990-2003, teaching all curriculum subjects for both seventh and eighth grade in a combined classroom.
Mr. Young lives in Drums with his wife, Kathleen, and children, Austin and Amy. He is an avid woodworker in his spare time.
