Nina Dei Tos
Nina C. Dei Tos '01, the Director of Alumni Affairs, joined the MMI administration in the Spring of 2009. Her primary responsibilities are to plan, organize and implement alumni events such as mini reunions and the annual homecoming celebration in addition to annual fundraising efforts including the Parents and Alumni Phonathon.  Ms. Dei Tos is also the head boys and girls varisty tennis coach. 
 
Ms. Dei Tos, a 2001 alumna of MMI, graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology and a minors in spanish and media studies with a concentration in print journalism.  Following her graduation, she returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania and completed training and certification to work with victims of crime and trauma.  She also received a certificate for Spanish in the workplace from Pennsylvania State University.  Ms. Dei Tos recently completed her Masters of Public Administration degree (MPA) from Marywood University.  At Marywood, she served as the President of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Graduate Honor Society and coordinated a number of events for the Public Administration program.

 

Prior to accepting her position at MMI, Ms. Dei Tos was a counselor/advocate for victims of crime at Victims Resource Center, Luzerne County.  In that position, she provided one-on-one crisis intervention and counseling, conducted educational seminars to high school and college students on crime prevention and awareness, developed support groups, assisted in agency funding and coordinated community activities.

 

Ms. Dei Tos is the daughter of Nicholas ’71 and Patricia Dei Tos and is the oldest sister to two MMI alumna, Maria Dei Tos, Class of ’05, and Gabrielle Dei Tos, Class of ’08.
