Nina C. Dei Tos, MMI's Director of Alumni Affairs, was named Head Coach of the Preppers' boys team in the spring of 2010. 

The 2010 spring season ended with a 4-10-1 record.  Though not an ideal, the team eagerly awaits the beginning of the 2011 season.  In 2011, senior Mike McGraw will return as a prominent player on the team and will offer experience and leadership to the newest members. Juniors Zachery Bowman, Balaganesh Natarajan, and Ryan Twardzik will also return as impact players for the team.The boys tennis team competes in the Wyoming Valley Conference and earned a League Championship title in 1979.

Dei Tos replaces Head Coach Don Arbaugh who coached MMI's tennis teams for the past five years.  Long involved in tennis at both the local and national levels, Coach Arbaugh was recognized as The United States Tennis Associations (USTA) Middle States Eastern Pennsylvania District 2006 Coach of the Year for his "dedication in improving the program, player development, and character development."  Sadly, Coach Arbaugh passed away this past December.
