The 2010 season was the Lady Preppers third season of competition. The team finished the 2010 campaign in the Wyoming Valley Conference with an 0-12 record, which is not reflective of the significant improvement seen on the field of play. Senior captain, Diana Anthony, was the team's leading scorer with five goals, while freshman Lyndsey Joseph ranked second with four. Junior goalie, Amanda Miller, averaged 20.3 saves per game in the net for the Lady Preppers.
In 2011, MMI will need to replace First Team All-Conference midfielder Diana Anthony, as well as seniors Megan Veglia, Alyson Klush, and Sarah Careyva. Set to fill the leadership void will be stopper Julia Dasher, defender Cathy Hood, forward Erin Kislan, goalie Amanda Miller, and midfielder Rachael Daniels. Head Coach Kim McNulty also expects great things from the 2010 Most Improved Player: Alexis Haupt, forward Lyndsey Joseph, forward Katlyn Frey, defender Cassie Caldwell, and midfielder Gabbie Lobitz.
Kim McNulty stepped in as head coach for the team this year, bringing a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the task. Coach McNulty played four years of college soccer at Smith College, serving as a two-year team captain and all-region striker. She has coached Boys Varsity Soccer at South Hadley High School and collegiate Womens Softball at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Memo Lara served as the asssistant coach for the team.
