Golf - MMI Preparatory School

Coach Morrison Mr. Michael Morrison serves as head coach of the Preppers' Golf Team and The Valley Country Club is the team's home course. The golf team earned Division Championship honors in the Schuylkill League in 1994 and 2000 and was the Anthracite League Champion in 1980 and 1981.

The 2009 team ended the season with a record of 2-10. Senior Connor McNelis qualified for the District II Championship Tournament and junior Ryan Forte led the team in scoring average. With the graduation of McNelis and senior Jared Hinkle, Coach Morrison will rely on Forte to lead the team in 2010. The 2009 roster of 14 athletes is the largest Golf Team that MMI has sponsored to date. With the program growing in leaps and bounds, Coach Morrison is excited about the prospect of successful future seasons while developing the underclass players.
