White House attorney returns to MMI to deliver commencement address |

Associate White House Counsel to the President Scott A. Coffina, Esquire, is coming home to deliver the commencement address to the graduating seniors of MMI Preparatory School on May 29. Coffina is a Hazleton native and a 1985 MMI graduate. “Part of my message to the MMI graduates will focus on the importance of developing strong, lasting relationships. Always keep in touch. Your leaders, peers and co-workers can have such an impact on your life,” Coffina said. |

MMI students earn Open House awards |
|
MMI Preparatory School, Freeland, recently held a special assembly to honor students whose projects won prizes at the April 20 Open House. MMI Open House, held each spring, requires students in all grades to develop an independent research project, which is evaluated by an off-campus team of judges that selects winners in the categories of science/mathematics, art/humanities and cooking. |
