Bruce Young has served as a member of the MMI faculty and administration for five years, starting in the fall of 2003.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University, a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from Bloomsburg University, and a teaching certification in General Science.

Mr. Young served as the Hazleton YMCA Program Director for one and a half years, and Coordinator of Athletics and Recreation at the Penn State - Hazleton Campus for 13 years. He then taught at Immanuel Christian School from 1990-2003, teaching all curriculum subjects for both seventh and eighth grade in a combined classroom.

Mr. Young lives in Drums with his wife, Kathryn.   He is an avid woodworker in his spare time, and is also the head coach of the varsity volleyball team at MMI.
