Jim Bebla was appointed the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at MMI in the summer of 2004. Mr. Bebla is responsible for directing a comprehensive development and alumni relations program including annual fundraising, capital campaigns, special projects, planned giving, and alumni events, programs and publications.
Prior to his arrival at MMI, Mr. Bebla was the manager of major gifts and planned giving at East Stroudsburg University for five years. He has also served as the Manager of Community Relations at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Associate Dean for External Affairs at Luzerne County Community College, and Director of Public Relations and Marketing at King's College. Mr. Bebla earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Marketing from King's College and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Scranton.
In terms of community involvement, Mr. Bebla serves on the Allocation Committee of the United Way of Greater Hazleton and has served as a volunteer on boards and committees for various organizations including the Stroudsburg Kiwanis Club, Leadership Pocono, the American Diabetes Association, the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Wyoming Valley and the Riverfront Parks Advisory Board, Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Bebla and his wife, Renee, have two children, Keith and Jeffrey. The Beblas reside in Mountain Top.
