"Teaching at MMI is ideal because parents and students are 'on board' for the challenges offered to them. Teaching proceeds here with few distractions. The fact that each class brings a fresh perspective keeps my job interesting. I think that many 'real world' lessons take place at MMI, especially in regard to a work ethic. It may not be important to remember Arthur Dimmesdale's first name for the rest of your life, but getting in the habit of exercising that precious 'muscle' -- the brain -- prepares our students to take on the challenges they'll face in the future.

My personal interests include training my two shelties, Max and Nimitz, in dog agility and coaching a Bible quiz team at my church."
