Head Coach Bruce Young brings over 30 years of coaching experience to his position at the helm of the Lady Preppers’ volleyball team.  He has previously coached at Penn State-Hazleton and Hazleton Areas High School.  The volleyball program began play in the fall of 2004 and competes in the Wyoming Valley Conference.  This year’s edition posted the most wins ever in a season and with a strong nucleus of underclassmen, looks to improve again in 2008.

PLAYERS  EARN  HONORS

Sophomores Brone Lobichusky and Diana Anthony were both recognized by the volleyball league for their performances during the 2007-08 season.  Brone was noted as a 2^nd team All-Star, while Diana received Honorable Mention for her Defensive prowess.  These two girls are the first MMI volleyball players to be recognized in the All-Star voting.
