The Annual Fund at MMI Preparatory School is an integral part of MMI’s fundraising efforts. Gifts to the MMI Annual Fund from alumni, parents, friends and businesses help support the annual operational needs of the school and allow MMI to provide much-needed financial assistance to our students. Sixty-five percent of our students receive financial aid. The Annual Fund also helps bridge the gap between tuition, currently $10,950, and the actual cost to educate one student at MMI – $14,000. Many gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts are used where MMI needs them most. For example, Annual Fund gifts may be used for student financial aid, to enhance academic programs, to purchase library books or to provide updated equipment. Annual Fund gifts may also be designated to a specific fund. MMI has more than 60 scholarship funds that have been established in honor of, or in memory of, a family member, friend or MMI faculty or staff member. Annual Fund donors are recognized annually in the MMI Donor Report distributed to members of the MMI family in October. Annual Fund Donor Giving categories are listed below. - The Eckley & Sophia Coxe Society - $10,000 or more
