The 2008 season will mark the first time the Lady Preppers have taken to the soccer field and they will immediately play a Wyoming Valley Conference schedule in their first season of competition. The husband-and-wife team of Dave and Jackie Lecher will be MMI’s head and assistant coaches, respectively. They will bring a familiarity of the region’s soccer programs with them, having coached at both Weatherly High School and Cardinal Brennan. The home field for the girls’ soccer team is Community Park in Hazleton.
