MMI offers all area school children an opportunity to make their summer vacation enjoyable and educational at the same time through annual Summer Camps.
A variety of camps are offered in morning and afternoon sessions across a four-week period beginning July 6 and ending the week of July 27. 2020 camps will include Crafty Messy Art Camp, Chemical Magic-Magical Microscope-Rocks & Minerals Camp, Camp Fairy Tale, Creative Engineering Camp, Cake Decorating Camp, Asian Cooking & Craft Camp, Ooey Gooey Science Camp, Robotics Camp, Wonderful Wizardy-Magical Science Camp, Hovercraft-Design your own Egg Drop Car Camp, Legomaniacs/Claymation Camp, Creatures Film Camp, and more!
MMI faculty and staff, along with instructors from Funtastic Camps and Box of Light, lead the summer camps on MMI’s campus at 154 Centre Street in Freeland. Although each camp is open to certain age groups, there are offerings for students from ages 6 through 15.
Each summer camp is held for two and a half to three hours each day over five days. Parents may sign their child(ren) up for multiple camps. Children attending two camps in a day should bring a bag lunch.
