Shaelyn has navigated her life with strength, determination, and a deep commitment to serving others. Her ability to fearlessly pursue her goals while remaining kind and resilient has forged her into a natural-born leader, one who can effortlessly facilitate environments centered around collaboration and teamwork.
Before the start of her high school sophomore year, Shaelyn fostered her passion for community service by completing a mission trip to Tanzania. Any fears around travelling were snuffed out by her drive to help others. Her experience there paved the way for a lifelong commitment to service and earned her the Freeland Rotary Club’s “Service Above Self” award. After graduating from MMI, Shaelyn continued her family legacy by pursuing her education at Lehigh University, her mother’s alma mater. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics, with dual majors in Finance and Marketing, and a minor in Health, Medicine, and Society. During her time at Lehigh, Shaelyn was a dedicated member of the Office of First Year Experience. Here, she gained insights into the power of building and nurturing meaningful connections. This idea of creating strong relationships to foster a lasting impact is something she’s carried into her professional Career.
Her calling to help others placed her in the medical field, where she started as a healthcare consultant at Cerner Corporation. In this position, she spearheaded the implementation of hospital systems. Continuing in this industry, Shaelyn joined B. Braun Medical — an international leader in infusion therapy, IV solutions, and pharmaceuticals — in 2021, where she’s been employed since.
In her current role as Senior Product Manager, Shaelyn oversees FDA submissions, product development, and go-to-market strategy for life-saving hospital technology and manages cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Germany. Not only can she flex her leadership skills, but she’s also able to make a meaningful impact on healthcare, helping to elevate patient care standards across the U.S. and Canada. At work, Shaelyn aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment for her colleagues, serve as a trusted partner to her customers, and contribute to the larger workplace culture that prioritizes collaboration and respect.
Shaelyn is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Lehigh University, with an expected graduation date of 2030.
