Wall of Fame Class of 2006
Attorney Denis Brenan ‘55 was a basketball standout at both MMI and Lehigh University. In his senior year at MMI, he was the top scorer in the region with 494 points and a 19.8 points per game average. Atty. Brenan was co-captain of the MMI basketball team that was 19-6 and won the Freeland Conference Championship in 1955. He was also a member of the MMI baseball team and was inducted into the Anthracite Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. At Lehigh University, he was captain of the basketball team. In addition to his athletic achievements, Atty. Brenan served with distinction as a labor lawyer for Bethlehem Steel, a partner in the law firm of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius and currently as Pennsylvania Litigation Counsel for the American Catholic Lawyers Association.
