Atty. Henry A. Giuliani was a long time supporter and close friend of MMI, serving on the MMI Board of Directors and assisting in all of MMI’s major fundraising efforts during the past 30 years. Having served on the Board from 1979 to 1987, Atty. Giuliani was a pivotal player on many committees dedicated to the success and survival of MMI. He served terms as both Vice Chairman and Chairman of MMI’s Board. Atty. Giuliani continued to support MMI with service on the Honorary Board of Directors, serving as Chair of the Honorary Board in 2004 and 2005. Atty. Giuliani was also a friend and supporter of many other organizations in the Greater Hazleton community. Until the time of passing, Atty. Giuliani served as Director of the CanDo Community Foundation, treasurer of the Hazleton Education Council and was an active member of the Rotary. He was President of the Greater Hazleton United Way, Child Care Center, Lower Luzerne County Bar Association and United Charities. Atty. Giuliani’s daughter, Atty. Beth Anne Giuliani, is an MMI alumna from the class of 1984. Atty. Giuliani, together with his wife Irene, established the Irene and Henry Giuliani Endowed Scholarship at MMI to help ensure the continued success of MMI students.
