Mrs. Shannon Falcheck joined the MMI faculty in the fall of 2023. In her first two years as a faculty member, she was an instructor in all of the STEM subjects in the Middle School, but this year, Mrs. Falcheck will be solely teaching Math. She was also named the Co-Chair of the Math Department in 2025. Prior to joining MMI, Mrs. Falcheck taught Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus & Calculus to Upward Bound students at Wilkes University. She also served as an online and in-person math tutor for students in grades 7 through college level. Mrs. Falcheck spent three years in the Hanover Area School district as a middle school science teacher and has a PA Teaching Certificate in Earth and Space Sciences, General Science, and Mathematics.

A Veteran of the US Marine Corps, Mrs. Falcheck lives in White Haven with her husband, Dave, children Lauren and David, and their dog and chickens. Her son, David, will be entering MMI’s sixth grade this fall as a member of the Class of 2032. Reading, cooking, fitness, learning German on Duolingo, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family are her interests.
