Timothy Garvey has taught at cyber and physical schools including k12 Corporation Online, Agora Cyber Charter School, Wilson Area School District, Holy Name High School, Minersville High School and Lebanon High School. He has taught all levels of Physics, including AP Physics, in addition to courses such as meteorology, earth science, general science, physical science and environmental science. He also served as a scientific analysis technician for the FBI.
“Bringing enthusiasm to the subject matter, I engage my students and foster a classroom environment that promotes independent thinking and spawns personal growth. I use multiple teaching strategies to incorporate different learning styles and conduct hands-on labs with my students,” Garvey said.
Garvey holds bachelor’s degrees in physics and mathematics from King’s College and a teaching certificate from Bloomsburg University.
Garvey teaches seventh-grade Earth Science, eleventh-grade Physics and twelfth-grade AP Physics.
