Two MMI Students Named Coca-Cola Scholar Semifinalists

Local high school seniors Khristian Banks and Jessica Zheng have been named Semifinalists for the 2023 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program, moving to the next round of the selection process to become a Coca-Cola Scholar and receive a $20,000 college scholarship.

MMI Honors Student Athletes at Athletic Awards

MMI Preparatory School recently held an Athletic Awards ceremony outside in the Mildred Culp Kahler Courtyard to honor upper school and middle school student athletes and their achievements during the 2021-2022 school year.

22 MMI students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science regionals

(Freeland, PA – May 9, 2022) – Twenty-two MMI Preparatory School students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) regional competition in March. Thirteen earned first awards (one won twice), six won second awards, and two earned third awards. The first award winners will represent MMI at the state competition at the University Park Campus of Penn State in May. Khristian Banks and Jessica Zheng received a perfect score. Students place in top ten at FBLA State Leadership Conference

(Freeland, PA – May 4, 2022) – Two individuals and one team from MMI Preparatory School placed in the top ten at the State Leadership Conference held in Hershey April 11-13. Mrs. Katherine Zucco, MMI Social Sciences Department Chair, serves as the FBLA advisor. The MMI FBLA team is sponsored by Flashback Cinema.  MMI’s Jessica Zheng placed 3rd in Sales Presentation and qualified to advance to the National Competition. Other commitments will keep her from attending over the summer.
